It’s a fact of life: accidents happen and they are inherently stressful. If you’ve been involved in an accident, it is important that you stay calm and check to see if anyone is in need of medical attention. Call the police and file an accident report (especially if the accident is not your fault). We will guide you step-by-step through the process of deciding whether or not to file a claim, go through your insurance, or file with the other parties’ insurance. At BMW of Tenafly, we work with all insurance companies and will arrange for your rental vehicle. We also guarantee all our repairs. If your car isn’t drivable and the police have it towed away – don’t worry. Take down all information related to where your vehicle is being towed. We can make arrangements the next day to have your vehicle transported to our facility. Once your vehicle arrives, we will begin our evaluation and note areas of damage to your insurance adjuster. Please remember the following: it is your legal right to choose where your vehicle will be repaired. It is an illegal act for an insurance company to “steer” or dictate where your vehicle can be repaired.
